Visualmente, el H. Upmann Connossieur No.2 está cubierto por una hoja de color marrón dorado que es extremadamente suave al tacto, aunque con una serie de vetas muy prominentes.  El aroma de la capa y el pie es una combinación de heno dulce fuerte, corral, tierra, espresso recién hecho, almendras cremosas y chocolate amargo, mientras que la extracción en frío trae sabores de cáscaras de maní, canela, heno dulce, tierra, espresso recién hecho, cremoso almendras y nibs de cacao.

Comenzando, el primer tercio de H. Upmann es increíblemente dulce y cremoso en el paladar, con fuertes sabores a caramelo y almendras que ocupan fácilmente los primeros lugares en el perfil, seguidos de notas de tierra, cuero, avena, cedro y notas ligeramente florales. Hay un toque de especia perceptible, y un poco de pimienta blanca; combinan muy bien con la dulzura de caramelo antes mencionada que continúa fortaleciéndose a medida que el primer tercio se quema. En cuanto a la construcción, el tiraje es excelente y la combustión, mientras que la producción de humo es bastante espesa y abundante fuera del pie. La fuerza del cigarro comienza bastante suave y, aunque aumenta un poco, aún no llega a un nivel medio cuando el primer tercio llega a su fin.

Si bien la nota de almendra conserva su lugar como sabor principal en el perfil durante el segundo tercio, hay una serie de otros cambios, incluidas algunas notas secundarias nuevas de sal mineral, canela para acompañar a las ya existentes de avena, cedro y tierra. La dulzura del caramelo continúa brillando en el retrogusto, combinada con un poco de pimienta blanca.

El tercio final del Connossieur No.2 cambia de nuevo, esta vez de una manera bastante significativa, con un nuevo sabor a piel de manzana ligeramente ácida a la cabeza, seguido de notas secundarias de almendras cremosas, canela, hojas de té secas, tierra, cuero, cedro, sal mineral y avena que entran y salen revoloteando en varios puntos. La dulzura del caramelo sigue siendo el sabor principal, aunque ligeramente reducido con respecto a los tercios anteriores, y todavía hay suficiente pimienta blanca para mantener las cosas interesantes.

Visually, the H. Upmann Connoisseur No.2 is covered by a golden-brown leaf that is extremely soft to the touch, though with very prominent veins. The aroma from the wrapper and foot is a blend of strong sweet hay, barnyard, earth, freshly brewed espresso, creamy almonds, and dark chocolate, while the cold draw brings flavors of peanut shells, cinnamon, sweet hay, earth, freshly brewed espresso, creamy almonds, and cocoa nibs.

Starting off, the first third of the H. Upmann is incredibly sweet and creamy on the palate, with strong flavors of caramel and almonds that easily take center stage in the profile, followed by notes of earth, leather, oats, cedar, and slightly floral hints. There's a noticeable touch of spice, and a little white pepper; these combine very well with the previously mentioned caramel sweetness, which continues to intensify as the first third burns. As for the construction, the draw is excellent, the burn is even, and the smoke production is quite thick and abundant from the foot. The strength of the cigar starts quite mild, and although it increases slightly, it doesn't reach a medium level by the end of the first third.

While the almond note maintains its place as the dominant flavor throughout the second third, there are a number of changes, including some new secondary notes of mineral salt, cinnamon to accompany the already existing notes of oats, cedar, and earth. The caramel sweetness continues to shine through on the retrohale, combined with a bit of white pepper.

The final third of the Connoisseur No.2 changes again, this time quite significantly, with a new flavor of slightly sour apple peel at the forefront, followed by secondary notes of creamy almonds, cinnamon, dry tea leaves, earth, leather, cedar, mineral salt, and oats that flutter in and out at various points. The caramel sweetness remains the main flavor, though slightly reduced compared to the previous thirds, and there's still enough white pepper to keep things interesting.
